Why We Infuse Our Oils At Cielo's Vanity,
A mixture of herbs used to infuse our oils to create an herbal-infusion is different from an essential oil. Rather than using a highly concentrated aromatic extract, an herbal infusion is created by gently steeping dried herbs in a nourishing carrier oil. This allows us to incorporate botanicals into our products without adding essential oils.
One of the herbs we use is Calendula has it has a long history of traditional use in skin care for its comforting and skin-conditioning qualities. One of our main carrier oil is Jojoba oil, selected because it feels lightweight while helping soften the lips and support moisture retention.
Together, calendula and jojoba create a thoughtfully infused oil that helps leave the lips feeling soft, conditioned, and beautifully cared for.
